Spoiler: Sign Guy is in fact the asshole here.
It’s a Mardi Gras parade. Instead of trying to see boobies in exchange for beads like a normie, this dinkus felt it necessary to draw on a piece of oaktag and attempt to antagonize UFC Star Dustin Poirier as Poirier was driving by with his wife. Also, with his six-year-old daughter.
HARDOOOOOOO @DustinPoirier should’ve slept him

Some backstory. “Your wife’s in my DMs” is a reference to Poirier’s fight against Conor McGregor. The third fight where Poirier won by TKO when Conor broke his leg. As Conor sat in the Octagon after losing, he felt it necessary to take a shot at Dustin’s wife. Sign Guy was so impressed by McGregor’s actions, he held on to the quote for a year and a half. And when he heard Poirier was going to be in the parade, it was time!
Bringing a dumb sign into an arena full of 20000 people is one thing. It’s another to be a douchebag who poses with the sign, then has your friend film you as you walk up to another man who you’ve never met to disrespect him and his wife. Again, in front of their daughter.
Poirier smacked the man as the sign guy seemingly held up his hand for a high-five. Yes, a high-five. “Hey Poirier, f*ck your wife! Also, can I get a selfie?”
Then when Sign Guy flipped Poirier off, Dustin wanted to get out of the truck but was talked out of it. It was for the best. Someone who is that big of a dickhead would be the first to call the cops. Poke someone with a stick. Then when the person you are poking with a stick reacts like they are tired of being poked with a stick, claim you were the one assaulted.
Dustin Poirier doesn’t have a fight lined up as of this writing. Sign Guy probably went home to play on his burner accounts on Twitter.
