Chuck Schumer’s Shocking Threat Against Brett Kavanaugh
Chuck Schumer’s threat against Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh was stunning at the time, for sure.
But bear in mind this was well before Amy Coney Barrett, a conservative-leaning justice, was confirmed – giving the right more control of the Supreme Court and calling into question that abortion rights could actually be curbed.
It was well before there was any true threat to rulings on Roe v. Wade. And it was nearly a year prior to the leak of a draft opinion indicating the landmark decision may be overturned.
It certainly though, laid the groundwork for pro-abortion extremists to view the Supreme Court as a threat. Something that, with the more recent leak, has led to doxxing of justices, protests outside their homes, and escalating tensions.
Roske, according to the criminal complaint filed against him, was “thinking about how to give his life a purpose and decided that he would kill” Kavanaugh and as such, was charged with attempting or threatening to kidnap or murder a US judge.
BREAKING: @DCexaminer can confirm the suspect arrested near Justice Kavanaugh’s home is Nicholas John Roske, who the FBI says had a gun, was upset about the SCOTUS leak overturning Roe & the Uvalde shooting, and had come to kill Kavanaugh & then himself.https://t.co/yqsficB7Nxpic.twitter.com/upwKbxNyCJ
CNBC reported that Roske “told police he traveled to the Maryland home of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh to kill him” and his motive was being “upset over the likelihood of the Supreme Court soon overturning the constitutional right to abortion.”
Think Roske wanted to unleash the ‘whirlwind’? Think he brought a gun and a knife to make sure Kavanaugh ‘paid the price’?

In a follow-up message, Lightfoot wrote, “We will not surrender our rights without a fight—a fight to victory!”
Yet, neither Lightfoot nor Schumer have apologized for their rhetoric since then, or even in the last 24 hours of knowing somebody had threatened to kill Justice Kavanaugh.
Former President Trump, at the time of Schumer’s threat against the Supreme Court, insisted the New York Democrat be held accountable.
“This is a direct [and] dangerous threat to the U.S. Supreme Court by Schumer,” Trump said. “If a Republican did this, he or she would be arrested, or impeached. Serious action MUST be taken NOW!”
“There can be few things worse in a civilized, law abiding nation, than a United States Senator openly, and for all to see and hear, threatening the Supreme Court or its Justices,” Trump wrote on Twitter Wednesday night. https://t.co/QG4yKs0y7g
The liberal media has been portraying reminders that Schumer threatening Kavanaugh with having to “pay the price” as a right-wing smear. That’s what every left-wing outlet uses as a defense against reality.
Schumer’s threat was so blatant, however, that even Chief Justice John Roberts, who has repeatedly sided with liberals in their rulings on the court, had to issue a public rebuke against the Senator.
