The “good guy with a gun” concept is being called a myth by the left in the aftermath of the Uvalde shooting. They point to all the alleged good guys with guns and badges standing outside the school. The rub is that you’re not a good guy with a gun if you’re a) not a good guy, and b) don’t use your gun. A good GIRL with a gun is being praised by police for preventing a mass casualty event at a West Virginia party.
Here’s the story. Douchebag Jones was speeding in his car outside of an apartment complex where there was a graduation party with many kids around. He was warned by the partygoers to slow down. D.J. didn’t like that. He ran home, grabbed his gun, and opened fire at the party. One woman at the party was a licensed gun owner and took him out with her handgun.
D.J. is the only casualty. The anonymous woman is being praised by the Charleston Chief of Police: “Instead of running from the threat, she engaged with the threat and saved several lives last night.”
She didn’t stand outside with her gun up her ass while kids were being slaughtered. She didn’t run into the crowd, grab her own kids, and run out. She acted in a split second and, because she was armed, saved the day.
That’s an example of a good person with a gun. Standing around for an hour while children are being slaughtered is not.
