White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki seems to be hitting a lot of podcasts and interviews as she approaches her last days in the White House, on her way out the door, reportedly, to MSDNC. Maybe that’s her way of getting more attention for herself and potentially her new show that she’s supposed to have. She’s also gotten more irritating and extreme over the past month, throwing off any pretend politeness and spinning even more blatant lies. There are ethical problems with having a deal on the table while still serving in the White House, but no one seems to be holding her accountable for her actions in this regard.
Psaki went on CNN+ with Chris Wallace. This might be the only way that anyone would watch Wallace or CNN+ for even a brief moment. Wallace asked her about the Florida parental rights bill and indicated he would have an issue (as most parents would) with teachers teaching sex education to kids under third grade. That’s when Psaki responded that it wasn’t about “sex” but teaching kids about “gender identity” which she was all in favor of.

“What about Sally? Sally has two moms. Or, I’m not sure if I’m a girl or a boy?” Psaki said. She then went on to claim that there wasn’t a big record of teaching issues of gender identity in schools. She obviously hasn’t seen the Libs of TikTok account, and that’s why the left wants to crush that account. So which is it: They want to be free to teach on the subject or there isn’t a big record? Those two concepts seem inapposite to each other. Plus, the answer is simple — ask your parents. Moreover, I seriously doubt any kid is going to ask that of a teacher unless they are prompted by the teacher. Why does Psaki want the teacher to be telling kids whether they are boys or girls? Heck, their Supreme Court candidate couldn’t even answer what a woman is, and neither could members of the administration. I don’t want someone who can’t even define what a woman is teaching my kid whether they’re a boy or a girl and filling their heads with some of the moral relativism that we’ve seen from the Biden Administration. Indeed, Psaki trips right over the very problem with this issue and why the law is needed.
It’s like kids who are bullied and then all these leaders are taking steps to hurt them and hurt their lives and hurt their families,” Psaki said, claiming that the laws were going after parents and it was “outrageous.”
So putting the instruction where it should be — in the hands of the parents — is attacking the parents? No one ever said that Psaki was the sharpest tool in the drawer.
But at least Chris Wallace was able to get a few more people to see his CNN+ show with that interview before the powers that be whack CNN+ for being a big failure.
