On Saturday, Leftist activists marched to the Tampa Convention Center for Turning Point USA’s Student Action Summit, which was held at the convention center.
As captured by Katie Daviscourt of The Post Millennial, one protester said “I have two words for Turning Point USA and everyone involved with it, be scared. In fact, be terrified.”

Throughout the afternoon, tensions rose between protesters and convention attendees.

A protestor told the crowd that those who chanted “no justice, no peace” must live up to these chants. He also added that “I want them to be afraid of us” and “they should be afraid of us.”

Activist groups such as Florida For Change, Tampa Bay Community Action Committee, and Women’s Voices of SW Florida organized protests, according to The Post Millennial. “DON’T FASCIST OUR FLORIDA” was the title of the Facebook event for the protest.
