Thousands of churches closing every year in USA

A warrant has reportedly been obtained by Calgary police for the arrest of Artur Pawlowski, a Polish pastor who went viral for demanding that officers checking for COVID compliance leave his church on two separate occasions.

A copy of the warrant obtained by Rebel News and reported on by the Daily Wire and Washington Examiner shows that Pawlowski faces potential arrest if he is to obstruct police from entering The Fortress (Cave) of Adullam Church in Calgary.

It was issued last week but allegedly not seen by Pawlowski’s lawyer until some time this week.

It states that should Pawlowski refuse access to the premises to any executive officer, police “shall be permitted to accompany and assist the Executive Officer and use such reasonable force as they consider appropriate to gain access.”

The warrant goes on to state that if law enforcement has “reasonable grounds” to believe the pastor has violated the court order, law enforcement is permitted “to forthwith arrest that person, restrain him or her and bring him or her at the earliest possible time before a Justice of the Court of the Queen’s Bench.”

“They’re coming very heavy. They’re bringing documents, they’re bringing SWAT team.”

Police Reportedly Obtain Warrant For Pastor’s Arrest

In a very chilling section of the warrant, police are authorized to do “anything necessary” to facilitate the arrest should they find reasonable cause to do so.

“It is further ordered that, in making an arrest under this Order, Law Enforcement is authorized to do anything necessary to carry out the arrest, including the use of as much reasonable force as may be necessary to make the arrest, and without warrant to enter any place where on reasonable grounds Law Enforcement believes that the offending person may be found,” the judge states.

Pawlowski warned followers of the escalating tensions between himself and law enforcement.

“They want me in jail. They want to arrest us only because we dare to worship our God, and we want to do it in peace,” Pawlowski said, according to the Washington Examiner.

“They’re coming very heavy. They’re bringing documents, they’re bringing SWAT team. They’re bringing health inspectors, police officers, and bylaw officers.”

Out!

Pawlowski’s case rose to prominence when the Canadian pastor went viral for demanding police officers checking for COVID compliance leave his church on Good Friday.

The officers were dispatched, according to Calgary Police, due to reports that attendees at the service at Street Church in Alberta, Canada, “were not adhering to the government’s COVID-19 public health orders.”

Pawlowski demanded the officers get “Out! Out! Out of this property immediately until you come back with a warrant, out.”

He went on to suggest the officers are acting like “Nazis” adding, “Gestapo is not allowed here.”

Just this past week he got another visit from law enforcement at a different church location.

“I do not cooperate with Gestapo,” the pastor railed. “I do not talk to the Nazis. You came in your uniforms like thugs. That’s what you are.”

In addition to Pawlowski’s plight, Canada has seen controversy involving other churches during the pandemic.

James Coates, another pastor at a Canadian church, was jailed for over a month when he continued to hold services in February in defiance of Alberta’s Public Health Act.

“I realized that’s the way society is going to perceive what’s happening here,” Coates told a provincial court Judge at the time. “[But] I’m simply here in obedience to Jesus Christ, and it’s my obedience to Christ that has put me at odds with the law.”

The matter prompted Fox News host Tucker Carlson to describe it as “obvious tyranny.”

“Will you stand up? Will you fight? Will you push?” Pawlowski pleads to viewers in one video. “Or will you just bow to the medical tyranny — because that’s what it is — and give up everything, because they’re coming for everything?”

Pawlowski, who grew up behind the Iron Curtain in Soviet-occupied Poland, concluded with this warning: “Wake up or else.”
