North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson gave a fiery speech in Greenville for the annual GOP state convention, saying President Joe Biden ‘s administration was turning the United States into a “socialist hellhole.”
Robinson, a rising conservative firebrand, became lieutenant governor after the November 2020 election , making him the first black person to serve the state in that office.
“During 9/11, people running away from those burning buildings, running away in horror … we saw policemen and firemen running to those buildings, basically running to their deaths, to go help others, because they saw trouble and they knew that they were needed,” Robinson said.
