A social media video from a restaurant in California showed Americans singing the national anthem at a restaurant in California, and many people reacted with horror and anger.

A TikTok user posted video from the Rainbow Oaks Restaurant as the clients stood up, put their hands over their hearts, and sang along with the national anthem in Fallbrook, a small city north of San Diego.

“By far the most dangerous situation I’ve ever been in,” she wrote about the incident and added hashtags for “white people things.”

The video went viral and garnered over 3 million views on TikTok and over 17,000 comments.

KUSI-TV sent a reporter to the restaurant to cover the daily ritual that has been happening for 6 years. She called it the “most patriotic restaurant” she had ever been to.

Others on social media were not as impressed, as documented by Fox News.

“Serious question. Is this real? Like people actually do this in real everyday life?” replied one user.

“As someone from the uk this feels so dystopian,” another person responded.

“In Spain we dont even hear the national anthem that much, so this would 100% freak me out so much,” wrote another user.

“This feels like a horror movie. Everyone stands up soon as the music plays as you find yourself been the only person not standing roll for initiative,” read another comment.
