A Tesla dashcam recorded a shocking video showing the exact moment a car struck a tire that came off a pickup truck on a California highway and was launched 10 feet into the air.
A Kia Soul was traveling on a Los Angeles highway when a loose wheel from a Chevrolet Silverado hits the Kia sending it airborne.
The accident happened on the Ronald Reagan Freeway in Chatsworth, Los Angeles, on Thursday, March 23. The LAPD said nobody was injured although the Kia driver sustained minor injuries.

According to Fox News:
The California Highway Patrol told KABC-TV that the Kia driver suffered minor injuries.
The agency said the pickup truck’s tire came loose due to what appeared to be sheared-off lug nuts.
